An updated and elevated approach to what is known simply as “catering”. Food works craft catering offers a wide range of food service, logistics and service staffing conveniences for catered events of all scale.
Our culinary approach is globally inspired, whimsical and food centric. Our service approach is simple, client focused and detailed. With decades of combined practical experience within the hospitality industry Food works craft catering is assuredly well versed and experienced to handle the finer details of custom catered events from initial concept, pre production, through to final execution.

Garret Mitchell
Culinary Director & Co-Founder
Formally trained in Alberta and the Languedoc-Rousillon & Basque regions of France, Garret brings over two decades of hospitality experience to the food program at Food Works. Inspired by art, music, travel and most of all gastronomy, he has worked restaurants, catering and other related food service positions in southern Alberta, Vancouver B.C., France and home here in Calgary, Alberta where he was born and raised.
Most notably Garret has worked under the direction and tutelage of 2 Michelin star chef Nicolas Masse *Presently Les sources de caudalie - Smith Haut-Lafitte, Martillac, FRANCE.
