Catered Event Booking & Payment Policies

Deposit of 50% of the approved estimate total is due at the time of booking to reserve our services for the date.  The finalized balance is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the actual event date. Finalized balance is due upon completion of the event once we have calculated final labour & consumption costs, in pre-arranged circumstances this may extend 24-48 hours hours from event end (if applicable).

We aim to make each and every event as seamless and stress free as possible for our clients. Special circumstances may be observed during the planning process if pre-arranged. Please communicate your needs with us during our preliminary meetings and we’ll do our best to accommodate any reasonable requests and requirements. We accept payment by cash, cheque, recurring EFT (if applicable) or interact e-transfer


Catered Event Cancellation Policies

In the unforeseen event of a cancellation following the initial booking – clients forfeit the initial 50% deposit. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the event – clients forfeit the initial 50% deposit. Cancellations within 1 week of the event – finalized balance of the approved estimate total becomes due in full. Unfortunately there are no exceptions with our policies due to the involved logistical nature of our business. Thank you in advance for observing our policies & procedures.


A Note Regarding Covid-19

The reach of the current Covid-19 Pandemic has had an unprecedented impact, not only here at home but globally in such a short period of time. We continue to monitor this ever evolving situation and adapt accordingly as events unfold.  

Our approach to this challenging time is to support our valued clients in any way that we can. With regards to 2021/2022 catered event bookings, should your event require a mandatory or forecasted postponement we are committed to working with you and your vendor team to confirm a new date and event detail while honouring your current investment until a suitable date is secured. We do not charge any fees for transferring an event date but we do not provide refunds, exchanges only.

Corporate Catered Event Booking & Payment Policies

48 hours notice preferred for corporate orders. We will make every effort to accommodate orders with less notice if possible.   This is to ensure the quality of our menu items and to observe the daily order deadlines of our suppliers. Orders are considered official upon a generated quote and confirmation email or telephone call.


Corporate Catered Event Cancellation Policies

More than 24hours  – We will reschedule an alternate delivery time/date which works for you less a 15% admin fee of the invoice total.
Less than 24hours  – Payment due in full. No reschedules or refunds may be granted.

$100 for breakfast / $200 for lunch minimum orders required for delivery service
$15 flat fee delivery on orders less than $300 (before tax)
FREE Delivery on orders over $300 (before tax) within Calgary and surrounding area 

Plateware & Cutlery 

Food Works is proud to offer eco compostable wares for our clients. Alternatively we can provide real porcelain, cutlery and linen napkins if desired – please inquire. Our compostable cutlery cost is $1.75/person ( includes appropriate plate, f/k/s & napkin)
